GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING ladies, gentlemen and everyone in between! Welcome back to our first episode in a little while! Following a lengthy court trial regarding my "blatant lack of impartiality", I have been banned from making these broadcasts. However, minor barriers such as the law and my own mortality have never gotten in the way of our show before, and they won't start to now! So, enough preamble, lets get to it before this show gets taken down!
In the heart of the bustling city of Aria, the renowned Opera House has become the centre of attention for a most unusual phenomenon. Witnesses report hearing ethereal melodies echoing through its grand halls, accompanied by the faint rustling of ghostly musicians. The Opera House, once known for its captivating performances, now harbours spectral visitors who seem intent on sharing their music with the living. Some believe these ghostly apparitions to be the remnants of former musicians, while others speculate about the origins of this spectral symphony. The current professional opinion - if phasmologists can really be called professional - is that these are probably the same ghosts that have been bouncing between other opera houses of late. Like some kind of concert tour... some kinda opera for phantoms.
For our second story, a public safety announcement! If you happen to be travelling near Weatherfield, it'd be wise to avoid flower patches! On top of the usual bothers posed by pixies and snakes, a new issue plagues the region! Thanks to the recent capture of Peter the dragon, monsters usually found in cave systems have been roaming the surface! Without Peter in the local area, the temperature of the tunnels has dropped significantly, urging all forms of horrors to seek the warmth of the sun. The Steelfangs - that's the recently founded Dwarf-Human monster hunting alliance - have dedicated most of their resources to limiting this threat. There are some things battleaxes just can't fix. Namely, mimics! An undetermined but substantial number of mimics have taken residence in the flower gardens around Weatherfield. We do not know how many, or where specifically they might be, only that they don't appear to have left the flowers. To be absolutely, one hundred percent clear: if you enter the flower patches, you risk being shredded by murderous flowers of treachery. That kind of embarrassing death is reserved for adventurers!
Off the coast of Nullore, a remarkable discovery has captured the attention of explorers and historians worldwide. Beneath the waves once lay the ruins of a sunken city, its grand architecture and intricate carvings hinting at a once-thriving civilisation lost to the depths of time. As explorers delve into the submerged ruins, they uncover relics and artifacts that challenge conventional understanding of history, gods and magic... that is until yesterday afternoon, when the city suddenly rejoined the coastline. the displaced water from the rising city caused massive tsunamis, wiping out large swathes of the already scarred land surrounding Nullore. Perhaps more interestingly, the long ago drowned residents of Undalante insist on having only popped out for lunch, and have no explanation for the century of history since they sunk. The sudden tripling of Nullore's population has caused some supply issues, so... get ready to tighten your belts!
