Starlight whispers

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING, Ladies, Gentlemen, and viewers of every variety in between! My name is Salendar, and I will be your host for today we delve into the unfolding mysteries in our ever-fascinating world. Here's a thought for you, as long as three things happen in a week, I will be here for eternity. I've broadcasted from beyond the grave, I've broadcasted from the real world after being dead, I still made my deadlines that one time the studio burnt down. There's no escaping me, for BSN will reign ETERNAL! Ahem, welcome to another edition of Bright Side News.

The Astronomers Guild, after fifty years of operation, have finally proved that they're worth the tax money, having discovered a celestial phenomenon known as the Starlight Whispers. Astronomers and adventurers alike are reporting peculiar sounds emanating from distant stars, forming rhythmic patterns that hint at an otherworldly language. The global scientific community is buzzing with excitement, launching magical probes and non-magical people high into the atmosphere to decipher these impossible messages. Of course, we're assuming it means anything. this could be a lot of things, and though the Astronomers Guild insist that these messages are from a star spanning civilisation, I remain doubtful. The guild is hardly popular, this could be them using space static to make themselves look important. Still, doesn't stop daring adventurers jumping into their metal boxes, lining up to be shot into the abyss... Gotta love adventurers.

On the topic of interstellar advances, here's a story near and dear to my heart. During the brief time period where I was in fact dead, I existed mostly in an infinitely large expanse known as the Purgitalian. It was incredible - an infinite space, within the guise of an Italian restaurant, stretching and morphing to accommodate every dead soul that ever existed... and the service was really good. Food was great, always arrived quickly - which was a weird thing to prioritise, we were planning to stay for eternity - and despite the occasional gang trying to control ketchup distribution, it was a great place. Why is it in the news? Well, even you lucky living souls get to experience it now! The Purgitalian has just opened it's first branch on the surface of the earth, right outside Nullore, which I'm starting to think has some kind of arrangement with the gods to be where all the interesting things happen! I would absolutely recommend going. the Purgitalian is the kind of restaurant you wanted to stay in for eternity, and you guys are lucky enough to have that as an optional extra!

In the magical city of Melodica, a peculiar performance has started taking place in the streets, every night. A magical experience, witnessed by only a lucky few adventurers, in the quiet of their restful sleep... The Luminescent Symphony. A group of street performers has started using their magical ability to manipulate light, creating dazzling displays of luminescence that accompany their melodic performances. The city streets have transformed into a radiant stage, captivating passersby and probably infuriating the local residents. The Luminescent Symphony claims to "challenge conventional notions of music and visual art, blurring the lines between sound and spectacle." Their incredible artistic talent, which I'm told is somehow fundamentally different to glow sticks or fire mage music festivals, has been making waves through the musical world, their popularity soaring almost as high as, say, I well thrown glow stick. or a fireball cast at a sixty degree angle, for example. Hey... Music Man, the symphony, who are very talented with a variety of instruments, are based in Melodica. They play at night, and they live in the local area. No particular reason why I repeated that, just making sure my incredible audience knows exactly what to do with this story!
